a combination of operational modes and specialized sensors, the Coulochem III delivers
performance above that of fluorescence, UV and RI detectors.  The Coulochem III Detector relies upon the electroactive nature of a large number
of compounds that can be oxidized or reduced. Although fluorescence or UV detection may
readily measure many of these compounds, liquid chromatography combined with
electrochemical detection provides a more sensitive and selective alternative.
According to the cell type, applications are different and more
specific.
- The Model 5011 Analytical Cell is designed for high
sensitivity applications at conventional potentials.
- The Model 5010 Standard Analytical Cell for high
potential applications.
- The Model 5014B Microdialysis Cell is designed
for the unique needs of the in-vivo microdialysis application.
- The Model 5040 analytical Cell is an amperometric
cell especially useful for applications such as pulsed amperometric detection of
carbohydrates and measurement of acetylcholine.
- The Model 5041 Microbore analytical Cell is designed
to be used in microbore applications.
