The LI-820 and LI-840 CO₂ Gas Analysers

LI-820 and LI-840 include some very exciting new characteristics such as alarm outputs, different length optical paths (user replaceable), user cleanable optics, user replaceable source and detectors, variety of signal outputs, and more.

LI-820 and LI-840 feature excellent resolution and superior accuracy for fast CO₂ detection and analysis, at an economical price. They have many features that make them superior to other analysers in their price range.

Only the LI-820 gives you the ability to switch optical benches. You can select cells with either 5 cm or 14 m path lengths.

Multiple Data Outputs

For complete and easy integration of LI-820 and LI-840 into other equipment controls for OEM applications, LI-820 and LI-840 feature a communication protocol based on a subset of the eXtensible Markup Language (XML). XML is a simple texte-based language that allows communication with LI-820 and LI-840; it uses simple texte strings sent bi-directionnally between a data acquisition system LI-820/LI-840 over the RS-232 port. As an example, sending this command:

<LI820><DATA>?</DATA></LI820>

instructs the LI-820 to send the most recent set of data values.
